Powerplus Marine is the trading name of RHP Marine Ltd. However Powerplus Marine and RHP Marine Ltd have been trading in Cowes since the late seventies. Powerplus Marine have traditionally been Volvo Dealers and RHP Marine Ltd represent Yanmar, Perkins, Mercruiser as main dealers. In addition RHP Marine Ltd have a strong electrical/electronic side to the business and represent Raymarine, Furuno, Icom, Navico/B&G and many other brands.
In 2005 RHP Marine aquired Powerplus Marine and moved to Thetis Wharf and now occupy a versitile workshop facility with craneage and alongside pontoons. We can also offer boatbuilding skills to include bespoke joinery, fibreglass repairs and painting.
To avoid confusion in the marketplace it has been decided to cease using the RHP Marine name (to coincide with the semi retirement of Richard Pierrepont..the founder) and to trade solely as Powerplus Marine.
Powerplus Marine have a friendy and competent team of factory trained and indentured engineers, electricians and boatbuilders.
In 2011 Powerplus Marine aquired the exclusive licence to market and build LEEWAY RIBSand offer a range from between 4.9m-10.3m. The ribs are available in basic form or can be supplied fully rigged with either outboards or inboard installations. They have both pleasure and commercial applications.
